A BS degree in chemistry was first authorized at Georgia Tech in 1906. On April 18-19th 2007, we will be holding a symposium to celebrate our first 100 years in conjunction with the inauguration of the Molecular Science and Engineering (MS&E) building. This is the new home building for the School of Chemistry and Biochemistry.

We have laid out a program that celebrates the achievements of our graduates and gives our current students and faculty an opportunity to learn more about what a Georgia Tech education can lead to. With the exception of the speaker's dinner on the evening of the 18th, all events are open to alumni from the School.

If you are interested in attending, please let us know which parts of the program that you will be present for so that we can plan accordingly.

Responses can be sent by e-mail to: chemistry100@chemistry.gatech.edu
