Quantum Chemistry PhD Student Rob Parrish Named to Forbes Magazine's 30 Under 30
Rob Parrish, a fifth year PhD student at Tech studying Quantum Chemistry, with a 2010 BS in Mechanical Engineering, was recently named to the annual Forbes 30 Under 30. The list recognizes young men and women in various fields identified as having talent and ideas that could potentially change the world!
Rob specifically works on computational methods used to increase efficiency of quantum calculations, which theoretically can be used to know almost everything about a molecule. “It’s good to learn things to mastery,” says Parrish, “Don’t skip over small details, especially in education: you’ll probably need to know them later.”
