Sigma Xi Best Thesis Award Given to Chemistry Ph.D. Recent Graduate
Atlanta (April 30, 2009) — Dr. Chiaolong Hsiao was selected as one of the winners of the Sigma Xi Best Ph.D. Thesis Award. Dr. Hsiao is a recent PhD graduate under the direction of Dr. Loren Williams. A plaque with a cash award and certificate was presented to Chiaolong at the annual Sigma Xi Awards in April.
Chiaolong is also the first graduate of the PhD program in Bioinformation from the School of Chemistry and Biochemistry.
