About the Student Affiliates of the American Chemical Society at the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Mission: To advance the broader chemistry enterprise and its practitioners for the benefit of Earth and its people.

In addition to these broad national goals, at Georgia Tech we have 3 main purposes with SAACS at Georgia Tech:
1) To increase fellowship among chemistry and biochemistry undergraduates.
2) To increase interaction with chemistry/biochemistry faculty and graduate students.
3) To reach out to the local community with chemistry demonstrations.
