- Dr. Cam Tyson came to talk about applying to graduate school
- Take Aways:
- Grad school = MORE MONEY
- Collect Information about different programs
- Based on GPA – GRE – Personal Statement - Recommendations
- Research is something they look for (very important)
- Visit the schools (they will often pay for it)
- Go WHERE you want, make sure they have WHAT you are looking for
- Dinner with a Prof.

- Meet at the North Ave. Apartments,
- people who paid dues will have a $5.00 discount otherwise tickets are $15,
- You can pay dues when you get there
- Next Meetings:
- November 25th two medical school students will come and talk about their experiences, one from Emory Medical and the other from Medical College of Georgia.

- Nov. 14 (Fri), 2008. Hockey Game 7:00 PM. Tickets will be about $10

- 2 hrs before game starts. Need help setting up, manning the food.
