Research

The Kretchmer Group is a multifaceted theoretical chemistry group that develops and utilizes new methods at the intersection of electronic structure and quantum dynamics. We apply such methodology to investigate the role of complex and unique environments in governing intrinsically quantum mechanical phenomena. These can be environments that are quantum mechanical in nature themselves, environments that drive the system into non-equilibrium conditions, or even environments that are infinite in size.
